Special Assessment Letter:
At our regular board meeting held on Monday, April 11, 2022, active members in attendance voted on and passed our annual budget, and a one-time special assessment of $300.00 to be assessed to all passive and active Forest Lakes members.
Thank you for your help with this special assessment. Your support will provide the much-needed funding for the repairs and enhancements throughout our lake in order to retain and improve all of our property values, thus continuing to ensure that Forest Lakes remains one of the most desirable lake communities in New Jersey.

CONTAMINATED SOIL IN FOREST LAKES:
Since the discovery of contaminated soil on two Forest Lakes’ properties on Hemlock Road, the Forest Lakes Board of Governors has been keeping a watchful eye on the situation and has been very active with the NJDEP and Byram Township in order to insure the safety and well-being of Forest Lakes’ residents, their property and the lake itself – including a request to the NJDEP for the testing of specific areas of our lake and adjacent property.

Welcome to our Lake Community
About Forest Lakes Club
Nestled in the rolling hills and pristine forests of Sussex County, rests the small community of Forest Lakes. At it's center lies a beautiful private lake - a 45 acre body of water - where neighbors gather together to enjoy each other's company, as well as a recreational lifestyle. It is a place that families, singles and retirees from all walks of life call home.
Developed in the late 1950s by the Westby Corporation, Forest Lakes was, from its inception, envisioned as self-sustaining through its Club. Today, Club membership continues to ensure its lake, property, clubhouse and beaches remain private for its members, as well as provide a means for community unity through its many organizations and events.
